The Street Transport and Highways Ministry has proposed to defer the time for utilizing the upcoming stage of emission norms for tractors by one calendar year to October one, 2021. This follows the ask for of the Agriculture Ministry, tractor makers, and agriculture associations.

Also, for design gear cars, the upcoming phase of emission norms are proposed to be applicable with influence from Apr one, 2021, furnishing a deferment of 6 months.
