Energy Minister R K Singh on Friday mentioned that India will not import energy machines from China, commenting as border standoff with  the Communist nation continues.

Through a virtual push meeting with point out counterparts, he also asserted that the machines import from China and Pakistan would not be permitted specifically on the basis of inspection.

He additional mentioned point out discoms must not give orders for source of machines to Chinese firms.

“We manufacture everything listed here. India imported Rs seventy one,000 crore truly worth energy machines which includes Rs 21,000 crore from China,” Singh mentioned in the point out power ministers meeting chaired by him this early morning in his opening remarks.
