A dowry harassment grievance has been filed from Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal by his spouse Priya Bansal in Bengaluru, according to LiveMint. Four individuals have been named in the FIR – Sachin Bansal, his father Satprakash Aggarwal, mother Kiran Bansal and brother Nitin Bansal. The FIR was filed at Koramangala police station less than two sections of the Indian Penal Code- 498A (dowry harassment), 34 (legal intent) and less than part three and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Priya Bansal has alleged that the harassment started prior to their wedding. In the grievance, she stated, her father had expended Rs 50 lakh on the wedding and had presented Sachin Rs 11 lakh in hard cash. She also alleged that her partner was pressurising her to transfer qualities in her name to him, and right after she refused to do so, she was harassed by her in-regulations.
In the grievance, she adds that Sachin Bansal physically assaulted her and demanded money. As for every the grievance, he allegedly physically assaulted her right after demanding that the qualities they owned jointly must be signed in excess of to him.
